CONSERVATION AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

Rivar Ltd plays an active part in the community, through supporting sports clubs and other good causes. Its property developments, where possible, endeavour to reflect the local surroundings and environment. Conservation stewardship is an integral part of the company's on-going land management.

Rivar Ltd is actively involved with the restoration of a system of 18th century lakes laid out by Capability Brown as part of the historic former Sandleford Priory.

On land near Newbury racecourse, restoration proposals require the planting of wild flowers, creation of reed beds and provision of a bird watching hide.
