COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT

Rivar Ltd owns and manages retail, residential, commercial, agricultural and mixed use properties. It develops and redevelops land for a wide range of commercial uses including: office accommodation, hotels, retail, mineral extraction and distribution.

The company has a policy of continuing to add to and enhance its assets by active management of its property interests. These include areas of accommodation land in West Berkshire and the 220 acre Lower Farm near Newbury Racecourse.

With the Lower Farm site, redundant agricultural buildings have been converted to residential accommodation and former mineral workings have been reinstated to provide wildlife habitats. Meanwhile, other areas of the site continue to be employed for mineral extraction and farming.
